Your tactics board
shows on the pitch
You're not watching while it's played, so Fakenine lets you leave everything ready: the eleven, the formation, how you want to play and what to do if things go wrong. The team applies it on the pitch, second by second.
Seven formations, and your own shape
4-3-3, 4-4-2, 4-2-3-1, 4-1-4-1, 3-5-2, 5-3-2 and 3-4-3. On any of them you can drag each player to fine-tune his spot: a wider winger, a deeper holding midfielder or a full-back who pushes on more. And each position plays whatever its zone calls for: a striker moved out wide plays as a winger, so does a full-back pushed up to the midfield line, and a centre-back stepping in front of the defence becomes a holding midfielder. You see it change on the board as you drag, and each player performs according to how well he fits that new position.
How you want to play
- Mentality: attack, balanced or defend.
- Pressing: high, medium or low.
- Defensive line: high, medium or deep.
- Passing tempo: fast, normal or patient.
- Attacking style: possession, direct or counter-attack.
Orders that trigger on their own
“If we’re losing from minute 70, everyone forward.” Conditional orders change the tactics or make a substitution when a condition is met: winning, drawing or losing, from a given minute. It’s what a coach would do from the touchline, but prepared in advance.
Preparing every match
For every match you pick the eleven, the subs and the penalty, free-kick and corner takers. Each player performs according to where he plays: out of position he performs worse, and you see it before confirming. If you don't log in, your assistant coach prepares the match for you.
FAQ
Do I have to be online during the match?
No. You leave it ready (eleven, tactics and orders) and the match plays itself on schedule.
Is there a tactic that always wins?
No. Each setup changes how the game is played: attacking and a high line create more chances but leave space behind; defending closes down the box and there are fewer goals at both ends; sitting deep and countering gives the underdog a chance. Player quality is still what matters most.
