Is it free?

Yes, completely. You play the full season, with everything, without paying a thing.
How much time do I need?

A couple of minutes a day. Matches play themselves on schedule; you prepare the eleven, the tactics and the orders, and if you don't log in one day, your assistant coach decides for you.
Who do I play against?

Against other managers in your league. Clubs without an owner are run by the computer until someone takes them.
How do I start?

Press “Join”: we give you a club in the bottom division, you name it, christen the stadium and go for promotion. From the Sixth Division to the First.
Is it realistic?

Every match is simulated second by second with all 22 players, the weather, the referee, fatigue and morale, and the engine is calibrated against real football stats: goals, shots, fouls and cards.
Can I play on my phone?

Yes. Fakenine is played in your phone or computer browser, and you can install it like an app so your staff can warn you about what matters.
How many matches are played each week?

Two: the league every Sunday, and on Wednesdays a cup (your country’s, the Star, the Gold or the Big Cup) or a friendly. If you don’t want to arrange friendlies, tick «Let Antonio arrange friendlies for me».
What cups are there?

In every country, the Ball Cup (divisions 1 to 4) and the Federation Cup (5 to 8), with extra time and penalties; between countries, the Star Cup and the Gold Cup (the best of every first division) and the Big Cup (the cup winners).
Can I sign players from other countries?

Yes, from any country in the game and under the same rules. Your scout builds contacts wherever you send him, and a foreign player takes a few matchdays to settle in.
