Privacy

Fakenine is a game, not a data business: we keep just what you need to play, we sell nothing to anyone and there are no ads. Here is everything, with no small print.
Who is responsible
The controller of your data is Jose Manuel Palmer Muñoz. For anything about your privacy, write to us at pepmpm@gmail.com.
What data we keep
Your account: your manager name, your email and your encrypted password (we never see it). If you sign in with Google or Discord, we receive your name, email and profile picture from them, and nothing else.
Your game: your country, province and language, your club and everything you do in the game (line-ups, signings, tactics…). What you write in the forums is public, as in any forum.
If you turn on phone notifications, the technical address your browser gives us to send them.
Technical data: your IP address and browser go through the server logs and the anti-abuse limits, only for the security of the game.
What we use it for
To give you your account and the game (that is what you ask for when you sign up), to send you the essential emails (verifying your email, resetting your password) and the notifications you turn on, and to protect the game from cheating and abuse.
To know how many people play and which pages are used, with Google Analytics, only if you accept it in the cookie notice.
Who it is shared with
With nobody, to sell it. Only with the services that make the game work: Hetzner, where our servers are (in the European Union); the provider that sends our emails; Google and Discord, if you choose to sign in with them; and Google Analytics, if you accept it.
Google may process data in the United States, under the safeguards of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The weather for each match is looked up on Open-Meteo by province, with none of your data.
For how long
As long as you have your account. If you delete it (in your Profile, “Delete account”), your personal data and your forum posts are deleted, and your club becomes free for another manager. The technical server logs delete themselves after 14 days.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct, take away or delete your data, or to stop using it, by writing to pepmpm@gmail.com. You can do almost all of it yourself in your Profile. If you think we are not doing it right, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
Minimum age
You must be at least 14 years old to create an account.
