Players who
grow and grow old

Every player is unique: his position, his attributes, his stronger foot, his character and his ceiling. He plays, improves or declines, grows old and one day retires. And behind him comes the academy.

Attributes that show

Pace, passing, dribbling, shooting, tackling, heading, strength, stamina… and, for goalkeepers, reflexes. Each one comes into play at its moment of the match: the quick one wins the race, the strong one the challenge and the good passer finds the gap.

Everyone in his place

A player performs at one hundred per cent in his natural position and less the further from it. A full-back can play centre-back, but not the same. In the squad and when preparing the match you see how well each one performs in each position.

They improve by playing

Players improve according to the minutes they play, the level of the opponents, their age and their ceiling. A youngster playing against good teams grows faster; a veteran slowly loses his powers.

Weekly training

You choose what the team focuses on each week and at what intensity, and you can give a player individual training for a position. Your assistant coach decides for you if you don't, and the better he is, the better they train.

Academy and retirements

Players retire with age or when they no longer have the level. For every departure a youngster is born, so the world never runs out of footballers, and a good youth coach brings better prospects.

FAQ

Do players grow old?

Yes: they get older as the seasons pass, improve when young and lose their powers as veterans, until they retire.
