Cookies

A cookie is a small file the website saves in your browser. Fakenine uses the essential ones so you can sign in and play, and analytics ones only if you accept them.
The essential ones
Without them you couldn’t sign in or send forms securely, so they don’t need your permission. We also keep small preferences in your browser (local storage), such as whether you have already closed a notice or what you chose in the cookie notice.
Analytics (only if you accept)
Google Analytics tells us how many people come in, where they come from and which pages they use, so we know what to improve. Without your permission it stores no cookies: at most, Google receives anonymous visit pings with nothing that identifies you.
How to change your mind
